About Me
Pegah is a Certified Massage Therapist in the State of California. She is also a Reiki practitioner.
Providing a place of comfort and safety that is supportive of everyone’s well being is her fundamental intention that weaves through her work.
Pegah started her formal training at San Francisco School of Massage in 2007.
"In 2007, I felt as I still do, that a course and a practical class environment as such, not only is informative and educational in learning ways to help restore our bodies to its optimal balance and health, but also it allows us to touch into our common humanity, in a very real way. It offers a chance to break some of the fear based barriers that separate us, and instead help us learn to establish healthy boundaries that enrich and support our humanity.
Such an experience more than likely could be very beneficial for any one to have; regardless of their professional and other pursuits and inspirations.
It is relevant to mention that in our 2007 class students came from all walks of life, ranging from old, young, middle age, school teachers, lawyers, health care professionals and all genders with diverse life experiences.)
Pegah continued with her training and education, and soon after started to work in the field.

One of my personal interests and go-tos that I feel relates to our general health, and ease; including the alignment and health of our bodies:
I naturally felt a great affinity towards meditation long before I actually came across Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City, where I inquisitively and carefully started to get to know the place and the teachings.
I am grateful for a center like Insight Meditation, and feel very lucky to have found it. This place has definitely been a source of support for me, a refuge. A place that has allowed me to also find many other invaluable resources and people. It truly seems that there is a straight connection between our feelings, emotions, and thoughts and our bodies' health. I feel this connection becomes more evident and palpable through meditation, reflection or by simply allowing - space - to exist fully, which can happen during receiving massage, and that can be very healing at all levels.
This connectivity has been written about, talked about and analyzed by many for centuries. I have also felt this connection through my own personal experiences and through my work. It is the subject of my on going interest and explorations, for the simple reason that it helps and supports my well being and my life in general.
The driving force of my work is the heart centered wish to help create the environment and the right conditions, where healing, inner peace and wellness is possible.
